I think anything new is well worth trying. Definately go for extra ROM with the hspu as I found them recently to be a weakness when my hands are raised on plates which reflects in my shoulder press.

squat warmup 45lbs x5 115lbs x3 185lbs x1 235lbs x1 255lbs x1 285lbs x1 work 310lbs(140.6k) x2 x2 315lbs(142.8k) x2 felt good all the way. The 315 was solid. |

Deadlift 5-5-5-5-5
all reps over hand hook grip dead stop regrip every rep but no rest inbetween in the set of 5. 285lbs 305lbs 305lbs 305lbs(138k) stopped there because I wanted to leave time for the metcon and finisher. The deads were good but really hard. I think I did ok but it was hard. I havent deadlifted heavy in a wile and I squatted this morning. For time: •75 Burpees •40 Pullups •75 box jumps (24") •40 pullups time 18:55 burpees done in 5:50ihs unbroken slow and steady. box jumps in 15/10 and so on for 7 sets pullups first round 10/15/15 second round 20/20 Finisher: •For 8 Minutes alternate 1 minute of plank position, 1 minute max HSPU's •Breaking plank before the time is up = disqualification+800m run as a forfeit planks unbroken HSPU 5/6/6/6 tough after all the rest. shoulders tired. |

Hey Nik! Havent visisted in a while! You have stayed consistent, nice work! I see your squats are looking good - you are consistently over 300 for reps, which is awesome!:highfive:
And a 5 x 5 on deadlifts is insane! I will be around a little more now, I think! (I am soending more time at the office...) |
