Chronic problems with right arm/elbow

My inner forearm and inside of my right elbow get real sore from snatches, cleans, pull ups and such. No problem with the left. I have always had soreness in this area from throwing and playing racquetball (30 years). Is this tendonitis? Do I need to wear a band on my forearm all the time? It has helped to wear a band when playing racquetball.

Re: Chronic problems with right arm/elbow

I just went to see someone yesterday for the same issue in my left arm. After an exam and x-rays, he determined it was "tennis elbow." Gave me a cortisone shot and I bought an arm band. Hopefully that will help.

My pain had a gradual onset but was most noticeable when doing upper pulls, like snatch, clean and high pulls. Funny thing, I also played racquetball for about 20 years but am right-handed and have no problems in my right arm.
