When performing a back extension (reverse hypers in particular), to hold the position isometrically like an L-sit? I remember that it was mentioned that the static contraction in the lower back that is experienced in a reverse hyper is similar to the contraction in the abs during an l-sit. I've seen the way that WSBB typically perform them, and it's more in a quicker rep fashion. Just food for thought.

Do both. Similar to working L-sits and hanging leg lifts. Working both modes will have better results than doing either alone.
