175lbs lift, 17 yrs old @ 140lbs

(wfs) http://i.imgur.com/wCCUg5y.gif

That particular lift didn't count due to the step back at the end but she did get another successful 175lbs that counted for the win.

(i think i've cleaned 185lbs once in my life :o )

Yeah, 17-18 y/o boys crushing my CLEAN AND JERK with a thruster. How very humbling....

Well, it is mid-day on a Tuesday...

The stands will fill up Saturday and Sunday.

heh, i know. it just looked a little ludicrous when i saw all the black shirts running in. :D

turns out one was for keeping track of the weight attempted / completed and one for judging movement standard.

Swimming events inherently put the black athletes on the back foot, not fair (and no this isn't racist, even they admit they aren't the best swimmers)

Last time swimming was in the Crossfit games, all of the black athletes finished right in the bottom few.

Swimming has been pretty consistent in the games for the last few years, this should not be a surprise to anyone, work your weaknesses.
The media gets better every year. The Games website shows with event is live (E1, E2, E3, etc.). Below the feed are icons to show which heats have already run, and links to workout description, lane assignments, and a start button so you can go back and see what you missed.

Kudos to CrossFit media to make it easy to follow.
just want to point out again how cool and utterly convenient this is for the online viewing experience. if anyone from HQ is reading -- bravo! :applause:

I keep hoping for a live rep counter/leaderboard like they do at the open announcement workouts.

Great battle at the end of SQT (Men's 45-49) between Craig Eisman and fellow board member Scott Jenkins! Really thought Scott had him there after Eisman was pulled back for a no rep.
