Just because.

Hit a PR? Brag a little here.

I'll start:

3-5-7-9 back squats yesterday - 135kg (297#)-128kg (282#)-122kg (269#)-115kg (254#), all PRs.

Nice job Jeff. I hit 215# close grip bench Monday (I had 225, but didn't feel like doing it). Last time I did close grip, my wrists gave out and I dropped 195# on the safety bars. LOL.

I'm looking forward to Friday to max out on the high bar back squats.

I've struggled with doing two movements not out of lack of strength or ability, but out of fear. But I conquered two in the last couple of weeks: unassisted handstand push-ups and rope climb. I always had a fear of crashing through the wall (yeah, right, like I could knock a cinder block wall down!) and with the rope, it was fear of falling. Even as a coach, I always had to have someone help me get up on the wall to demonstrate handstand push-ups because of my fear. But now I have them down pat and don't worry. And the rope climb, I just had to push past that mental barrier of falling and know I was strong enough to get to the top without falling off the rope. I stood and stared at that darn thing for probably 30 minutes while alone at the gym one day and finally just did it.

Going for 285 or 290 today after hitting 280 a week ago. Depending on how it feels, I will try 301. :D

Nice job, everyone. I got two PR's this week - 130# hang clean Monday and 230# deadlift yesterday! This has been a great month for me strength-wise.

This may not count, but I scored 150lbs for a 4x5 doing a cable curl( gun show-pchew! pchew!)
BTW, cable curls are easier than standard barbell or E-Z bar curls.

Hit a 3 RM front squat of 315#, 3RM push press of 225# and 3RM BTN jerk of 245#.
