Re: Nik

Why did you do the pull ups unweighted, going a bit easy on yourself, you make me feel bad for doing the sit ups and lunges with bodyweight, I wonder how Erin, sorry I mean Ernie has done.

AHAHA, I wanted to be sure on the C2B pulls. Even with jusr 20 lbs extra it was tough on the lunges, kind of tough on the situps, all pullups unbroken.

Yes I agree with Richard, your pull ups a very strong Nik, I had to break all sets, my best consecutive was 17 reps in the first round.

:yeahthat: only did 17 in the first round as well ! You're not letting normal pull-ups slide in here and there Nik, are you ? :D

Thanks for the complement. If you are talking about that mad swing during the reps, I do some times, but I have got to where I can stop it and I can still get chest up to the bar any way, when it happens I pull a little higher, so one rep will be way high, the next will be chest level.

quick question guys, when you do the c2b pullups do you mean middle, lower, or high part of the chest to touch the bar?

I don't know what the standerd is exactly, It was a last years game standerd that posted about it. But I hit about an inch or two above my nip's, so just above mid chest?

Re: Nik

Yes that sounds about right, mid pectoral muscle is good.

Nik, I highly recommend not doing weighted back extensions today as you will waste time picking the weight up and getting into position on the small sets of 12 downwards especially. It would take longer to get in positiion than to perform 3 reps. Besides Texas is lagging , you need a win today :D
