Climbed at Hinckley with Jeff, Rick, and others. A little damp but still got 12 laps in. 7 on Dunes.

Later at the Shed...
Some VooDoo flossing, reverse wrist curls, and some muscle ups.

Walked three miles around the farm.
That's 3 miles on back to back days.

Did some snatches up to 105#
Did some C&J up to 105#

Hip is what it is...

Shoulder Band Stretches

Sumo Deadlift
5 reps @ 95, 115, 135, 155, & 185#

For time:
10 Burpees
20 Russian Kettlebell Swings 53#
9 Burpees
18 Russian Kettlebell Swings
8 Burpees
16 Russian Kettlebell Swings
…and so on down to…
1 Burpee
2 Russian Kettlebell Swings
11:37 or 12:37?

L-Sits and Handstand Holds on Parallettes.

Some mobility work to finish up including a few attempts at a back bridge. It needs some work.:o
To add insult to injury Mary just rolled out of bed and did a very legit back bridge just to show her dad up.

A good morning working on posture and light weights at the Shed 'o Pain.

In no particular order and with no particular purpose except to keep moving:
sitting posture, standing posture, lacrosse balling back & butt, deadlifts at 135#, back squats at 45#, some pullups on the rock wall, OHS at 45#, one C&J at 135#, some tgus at 20#, two GHD situp stretches.

Just a real good movement and posture session.

OMFG does my hip hurt. This is either dedication or a recipe for disaster. I have an appointment for a second opinion tomorrow.

Tuesday June 9th

Coached basketball while standing substantially still
Went to doctor
Walked up hill to stadium
Watched half of Indians game
Pain killer wore off
Shuffled home in agony

Okay, it's time to accept that this injury is still an injury and that training anything but posture and movements that don't use my lower back is a stupendously bad idea... Weightlifting is over for now. Time for a new challenge (e.g., regaining the ability to walk pain free). Am open to suggestion for a challenge after that.

Worked in 5 sets of 10 hip extensions and push ups.
