Great job getting it done in that inferno nik! I definitely know how you feel doing the wods in that heat and humidity. Like you said it will only make us stronger and the wods in cooler temperature will feel much easier. I remember the last time Eva came up and I did it in the heat I almost quit halfway cuz I thought I was going to over heat.

Are you doing today's wod on a track? My legs are extremely sore from my mountain run yesterday but here is a track near by here so I might do today's wod there.
Thanks Man. I feel your pain in the heat.

Yea, I'll be at the track. It will be easiest for me to keep track of(no pun intended). It will be tough enough to keep an eye on the timer, let alone where I am on the street.

Warm up good. Run hard.

15 rounds for distance of:
Sprint 20 seconds
Rest 40 seconds
Start each round at previous round's end point.

1 mile 100yards
1700 yards
1554.48 meters

102degrees F, 38.8 C

It felt pretty good. Hard to catch my breat. Hard to time. One run i stippet at 23 secons, and started 3 seconds slow. Hard to run hard and look at a timer. Fun.

My calf held up good. I feel it a little. but no pull or knot.

Real happy overall. I had hoped for over a mile.

Nice work, Nik. These mono-structural anaerobic workouts are always good for a little pain. Must have been fun in the big Texas oven!

Great work Nik and real glad your calf held up with no pain, reckon you are seeing the back of that pesky injury. (dont mention the heat:p)

Deload week 531
press 3x5
I did 3sets at80lbs
bench 3sets at 135lbs
deadlift
3sets 185lbs
squats3 sets at165.

I just did the heaviest weight from all exercizes to save time and just get it done. Truly, it felt a bit silly. But good ROM practice. And I get a light week now.

Thanks Jay, it wasn't as bad as yesterday. It didn't hoit me the same. I guess it was the rests. It was harder right after the last run to cool down.

I hope you are right. I did alot of warm up. And even a little streching during the workout. I will strech out some more tonight.

Hey Nik, I was reading through the comments on the mainpage and there seems to be some discrepancy as whether you were supposed to begin where the 20s stopped or where you slowed down a stop at during the 40s.

I walked back to the spot where my watch beeped. Is that what you did?

Yea, I did the same as you. I figured that was the way.

I mean you could ''coast'' to a stop and add alot of yards off the colck. That just doesnt seem like how it is supose to work.

Heck I even paced back and forth across the track to not go forward at all.

Thats why I did not hit the de-load, I just dont think my body would register doing it, probably no more effort for yourself than lifting a box and moving it around the factory. Could understand if we was hitting each exercise 3x a week.

Anyway, you ready for 'Nate' today. I wish it was 4 x muscle up and 2 x hspu!! :D
