New River Trip with Kent and his wife.
Saturday: Personal Pronoun 5.9 redpoint Orange Oswald 10a redpoint Snub Nose 11b redpoint-2nd go. Felt hard for 11b. Under the Milky Way 11d redpoint Sunday: George of the Gorge 5.9 Pre-Marital Bliss 10a trad redpoint Through the Never 12b redpoint (first go this trip) Almost blew the top crux! Hard. Totally-Clipse 5.8 redpoint (Kent's first outdoor clean lead!) Remission 10b trad redpoint Legacy 11a redpoint -Alway fun! Monday: Bubba Micro Brew 5.5 St. Pauli Girl 10b -Kent had a TR flash. Sheer Energy 11a Diamond Life 13a Worked it on TR just for fun. Got through the first crux fine, but had to work the second crux a few times to do it. With the right conditions I feel I could redpoint it pretty quick. I would love to work it with Jeff sometime too. Great trip with good weather (a little warm) with Kent and his wife. |

Bouldered with Jeff at the Shed for about 3 hours. Jeff sent most of my newer problems. Fun! Today 15 deadlifts 135# 15 push ups 10 rounds 15:26 My PR is 14:39. |

Bouldered with Tim at The Shed O' Pain. Had a great time. Normally, I can only manage to send one or two of Tim's problems if I'm lucky. Yesterday, I sent almost everything I got on. The problems were all good and very hard. I hope that transfers to the rock. |

Climb: Bouldered at CRG with Lena and Brad. It was a short session so I only did some easier warm-ups on the grey wall, three easier problems on the roof that I hadn't done before and a couple of easy problems on the wheel wall that just went up. |

Climb: Bouldered at CRG. Worked on a new problem that Matt set. It starts on the left side of the roof and finishes out on the wheel with the same mantel move as the problem we did last weekend. I've done all the moves, but it will take a HUGE effort to put it all together. |

"Tabata Something Else"
Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups (GHD), and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises. Total reps from all 32 intervals: 289 Lisa was my score keeper and cheerleader. Thanks! |

11/4/11-11/6/11 New River Gorge trip with family and friends. Climbed all 3 days. The best route of the trip was Schneezal, a 12a at the Meadow. Another 4 star classic. It had a bouldery start and a long sustained overhanging finish. I took a long whipper at the top on my second attempt. Sent third go. Sweet. Had a great trip with family and friends.
