Ready to start zone
About 2 months ago I finally made the decision to clean up my diet.

Instead of jumping head first into the zone, I concentrated on eating better and cleaner.

I think now I am ready to start zoning. This really makes me feel dumb, but I need help understanding blocks, etc. I weigh 215. I am 6'0". My bf is? I can barely see my upper 2 abs.

I am guessing that I need to be around 195 to 205.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Also, I really do not want to be any larger. I would like to get my "ideal" size. I have been doing Crossfit for about 3 years and continue to put on muscle.

I forgot to ask. How do I determine what body type I am?

Jeff, the easiest way is to enter your measurements into [url=]this calculator[/url] (WFS) to get an estimate of your body fat percentage and necessary Zone blocks. The body types listed in CFJ #21 are estimates of this estimate. Most people list Crossfit as "moderate" exercise if they're trying to lose weight and maintain muscle. When you reach a maintenance point then increase your fat blocks.

Another way is to checkout [URL=""][/URL] and under "zone tools" choose body fat calculator.

That is also the official website of Zone and can provide you with a ton of information including additional recipes you might not find here on the forums.
