Pretty new to Crossfit and struggling with breakfast

So I am pretty new to Crossfit (approx. 4 months) and also adopted, as far as possible a Paleo guidelines. I however, for the love of god, cannot think of anything creative for breakfast. Usually do not do morning WOD but since I bought my equipment I tend to do a simple two movement based WODs in the morning quickly. I am stuck on different variants of egg/bacon based breakfast and oats (when time does not permit anything else - which is almost most of the time).

Would love to hear on some ideas from the community.

Either find ways to fancy-up your eggs (i.e. omelets with mushrooms, peppers, salsa, guacamole, cheese, etc.) or just eat last night's leftovers for breakfast. There's no reason breakfast has to be "breakfast foods."

I have tried all the various safe additions :( Your second suggestion is actually very interesting as I can remember previous nights salad with tuna the next morning and felt great. At this point I would most properly eat a stew for breakfast as well to get some variety :/

If I don't do bacon and eggs it is typically cereal and a protein shake. Contrary to popular belief around these parts, cereal isn't evil as long as you aren't eating the sugary kind.

Never heard of cereal being Paleo friendly. It is either full of sugar, imitation sugar, grains, wheat, and or flour unless you found an anomaly.

Try this web sight below and i think it will take you awhile to run out of ideas :)

Well if you want to stay paleo you can make your own with various nuts. Unless you have a specific need (ie gluten issues/other health conditions) then you can have a perfectly healthy breakfast with some grains in the morning.

Are all of your 3,000+ posts as worthless as this one?

Here is a cereal I like

1 TBSP flax milled flax seeds
1 TBSP of hemp protein powder
1/4 cup'ish chopped nuts
1 TBSP chopped ginger
Banana cut up
1 date cut up
Cacao nibs (optional)
Almond milk

Mix it all up, great as a post WOD

Actually, that was kind of neat. Luke- your post, not so much.
