Re: Nik
8 Rounds for time of:
•3 squat cleans (80/45kg)175lbs •15 pressups time 11:53 I am real happy with this. All cleans were singles. I have'nt cleans in weekes and was afraid of it. I paced it out and stayed to a pace and went faster on the cleans as they went. Pushups first 3 rounds unbroken then broke in two sets after. I did'nt have time to press, we got Brady through his workout after so no time for it. I will press at 3:00 if I can.
Well done Nik, thats 24 cleans with more than your bodyweight. Doing that kind of workout makes lighter ones feel easy, Elizabeth now would be a breeze!! |

10:00 break
squats 45lbs x5 115lbs x3 185lbs x2 235lbs x2 285lbs x2 work 310lbs(140.6k) x3 x3 x3 good set. Monday I was'nt as good. I missed a rep on the second set. I double checked my form , good bar position elbos up knees out feet in the right place. Last rep on last set my legs felt weak but I was ok. I stuck with the weight to make sure of form and getting it right beofr I move on. I will probably hit this weight again next week for the same reason. |

Strength•If you didn't do yesterdays workout- Thrusters 3-3-3-3-3-3 •If you did do yesterdays workout Walking Lunges 10-10-10-10-10 (with barbell on back, or kettlebell in each hand) I did 5 set of 10 steps lunges with the bar on my back For time: •Run 1000m •30 muscle-ups •Row 1000m time 21:09 MUs in 3s till the last 6 reps where it was 2/1/1/1/1 last run was hard and fun. Good place to force my breathing into a rythum. Oh the two runs were in the rain. Finisher: 20 HSPU, 40 toes-to-bar for time: time 8:15 I wanted the HSPUS unbroken but got it at 12/8 toe to bar in bits, first half were fast reps second half were that double swing at the bottom thing. Mostly set of 5ish. Fore arms feeling it. 2 each deadhang MUs just to see if i could after all that. |
