What if I just blew up?

Crazy idea: What if I gained about 45-50 pounds and blew up to 200 pounds, and then lost 45 to 50 pounds to get much better at pullups? When I started pullups at 180, I ended up losing 25 pounds so now I weigh a buck fifty-five. Not a whole lot of weight to lose here now unless I am 5'9. The theory being that if I lose MORE weight, I get much better at pullups. Kind of like from obese to jacked and able to do more pullups.

Why not just use a weighted vest or another option for adding weight?

Because if you struggle with them now, imagine doing them 50 lbs heavier.

Not to mention, don't you want to be fast?

Not to mention, its not like gaining 50 lbs is as easy as you think.

Listen to our advice. Please. If you continue to ignore and try to come up with your own half baked ideas we are going to stop.

I don't know what to say. You aren't going to get anywhere getting fat. Stop posting and work at the things we told you too.

So I carry a 50 pound weighted vest, then do reps on the assistance machine or assistance bands, then get my first 6 pullups with the 50 pound weighted vest, take off the weight the next day, and then be able to do 10 consecutive pullups?

Sounds great in theory, but where am I going to find a 50 pound weighted vest?

Stop. That won't work. We already told you what to do.

Do regular pullups first and forget about weighted ones. You are too weak atm.

Can a moderator please make a judgement call on this?
