Re: Nik
Sounds like you hyper extended on the jerk Nik, get the roller on it, most likely just the muscles seizing up a bit to protect the back. Nice rope climbs, I got to get on our rope.
Yea, it is feeling better already with alot of water and a little rolling. I will stay on it. Stuped of me going as heavy as I did, it has been atleast 6 months form the last time I did split jerk, if not longer. You guys finally got a rope?!?!?!
Sounds like a good little workout Nik I can imagine the grip getting tough!! I want to do more rope work, hopefully when we move to our new place we will do more.
I love the rope, I don't get on it as much as I'd like, but it is some fun. |
Re: Nik
How's things Nik, haven't stopped by for a while.

Re: Nik
Yeah we have a rope but its not really hung high enough. I do find though that just a few pulls on it and my elbow tendonitus flares up pretty bad.

Thanks for stopping by, I still ''ghost'' your log too. Saw that complex you did the other day. I'm ok, still trying to get past this blood thing though things are looking good at the moment.
Yeah we have a rope but its not really hung high enough. How high is the rope hung? |

Re: Nik
Its only on the same rung as the high rings so probably about 14-15ft which is not much when your already standing at 6ft. You could always start from sitting. Guess its something I need to do to get my elbows use to the strain of them, build it up slowly.

Yea and 6ft, you can get 15 foot in two pulls easy. Still like you said, alot of people start from sitting for that same reason. |
Re: Nik
10:00 break
daily squat 135lbs x1 185lbs x1 235lbs x1 285lbs x1 325lbs x1 355lbs(161k) x1 all ok, it was tough today, I was glad to grind it out on a day that was not ''easy''. Knees again on the last rep. I will not go up till I get my form rock solid. Last friday I did the 355 twice it felt so good, I'm not sure what is up today, but still not a bad lift. |
Re: Nik
Well, Brady asked my to help him put the transmission in his Mitsubishi evolution. So I spent my time there putting my functional fitness to use.

Re: Nik
3:00 break
squat cleans 135lbs x2 165lbs x1 185lbs x1 215lbs(97.5k) xf x1 x1 xf xf xf x1 I wanted to get 5 reps and felt ok about it, then all the misses. Not sure why, it was all forward in the catch. I felt tired and felt it on my squats this morning. Not sure if the jerks and rope climb did more to me then I expected. Seeing that I have not done either in a LONG wile, maybe they taxed me alot more? Not sure. |
