He coaches or has coached Klokov and Akaaev. No surprise there lol. Dude looked like a tank. The 90-105kg weightlifter's physique is something to behold.

Heh, skirting the line and not going any further. Like I said, I am a person of faith myself, of course I have my own upbringing and opinions though. PM or FB would be better for the discussion thereof though :P

Lifts have been going up lately :)

It's a slow process of course. Hit a 235 power clean the other day. Front squats last night did a few heavy singles at 215 that felt pretty easy. Last time I maxed I was at 235 but I think I might be able to put up 245 now. Back squat is 290 slowly crawling toward that 315 goal

Also traps are the best

My buddy wants me to wait eat breakfast till I get to the gym in 40 minutes so we can go to breakfast for our podcast.

Already starting to feel the gnawing hunger come on. Generally within 10 minutes of getting up I wanna start gnawing on my hand.

Gonna eat so much bacon and eggs.

Yesterday was a dismal day lifting. CJ series followed by box jerks and jerk drives I missed monday night. So doubles from the knee went eh. Legs werent there. 63/82.

Finished with jerk recoveries at 102x3. Missed 137&135 FS so hit 5x3 with 110 that I barely feel today. Helped out noon class and so hadnt eaten in 4hrs by the time I started lifting.

Going to Cal Strength tomorrow so hoping for a big day to break the 100 Cn and maybe Jerk.

So pretty sure I will either take today off or do a snatch complex and call it.

Guy in the Klokov DT thread just questioned Adrian Peterson's - and by extension, football/pro athletes in general - "mental toughness."

What?
