Cristina's Workout Log
 
I've been CrossFitting since March 2013. I keep a hard-copy log as well but thought it would be nice to have one on here for reference. (I will edit this first post as necessary with my PRs). I've only been doing unassisted pullups for a short time so I haven't had the chance to do many of the girls RX'd yet ;)

Deadlift: 190 (5/4/13)

Clean & Jerk: 110 (6/12/13)
Snatch: 75 (6/1/13)
Strict Press: 85 (6/22/13)
OHS: 60 (6/21/13)

Right shoulder has been bothering me for about a week so I made a lowerbody/core only workout to do at home:

4 RFT
30 x air squat
30 x strict sit ups (no arm motion)
30 x walking lunges (15 each leg)
15 x box jump (20") with no arm swing

28:25


Taking until Monday off to rest my shoulder.

Today is a rest day but I practiced handstands for a while (my max is about 2 seconds... not sure if it's lack of upper-body strength or balance)

Also did 24 x 24" box jumps for time (2:17) because I was bored :)

Monday 7/1/13

Strength: 6' EMOTM: (2 sets) 2 x Pendlay row + (1) x power clean (90#)

WOD:

3 RFT:
20 x Wall Ball (10# to 9')
15 x knees to elbows
10 x HR push ups
5 x ring dips (used a band)

Every 2:00 do 5 pendlay rows (70#)

Time: 11:26

After: worked on handstands, FINALLY overcame my fear of doing a handstand against a wall (I've always been scared I would hit my head:confused:); attempted some ring muscle-ups (ha!)

30 burpees

Wednesday 7-3-13

Woke up with a terrible sinus headache... did my netti and took some cold meds and went to the box, but I definitely didn't bring my A game this morning.


For time:

800m run
+
2 rounds of:
50 med ball slams (14#)
40 pull ups (used a band)
30 pistols (30 each leg - scaled to 60 air squats)
20 KB swings (10 kg)
10 HSPU (with about 4-5" of stuff stacked under my head)
+
800m run


Time was 28:??.

My box is closed until Monday so I'll have to come up with something for the rest of the week at home...

Thursday 7-4-13

Took my parents through a modified Fight Gone Bad workout. Used a 10# med ball for the wall balls, did step ups instead of box jumps, and jump rope instead of rowing. Pretty fun :)

I went through that myself, then did 1,000m on the C2 - new PR of 3:58!!

Strength: Push Press
4 x 3 @ 70% (75#)
3 x 2 @ 80% (85#)
2 x 2 @ 90% (95#)

WOD: "Jack" - 20' AMRAP
10 x Push Press (80#)
10 x KB Swing (35#)
10 x Box jump (20")

Score: 5 rounds + 4

This was my first time using a 35# KB, always stuck with 22#...progress :)

I haven't really kept up with this log... a notebook just works better for me I guess. But today in open gym I set 3 new PR's!

"Jackie": 13:19 (Previously 19:22 on 5/20/13)
Clean: 135 (Previously 130 on 7/11/13)
Clean & Jerk: 135 (Previously 125 on 7/11/13)

I think I had 140 in me for the clean but the legs were pretty tired after all that. Good day :)
