...and this is #3 on the night, just to prove to myself it's not a fluke. Number 1 isn't recorded, I got completely blindsided by focusing on the false-grip and not letting the rings wing out sideways at the transition.

Thank you gents, it means a lot. I think I remember Pat Janes saying how when he got his first muscle-up, he just wanted to keep doing them; now I know how he felt.

I've let up a bit now, James. But I was practicing several times a day GTG style for weeks after my 1st MU.

Certainly helps once you come to your 1st MU for reps WOD. Plus it's just fun being able to rip off something that most people can't do...

I got another last night after the UFC fight party and 'sumbeers'. Got another one this afternoon after I put a shed together and sunburned my upper arms. The straps rubbing my arms felt like razors => end of honeymoon w/ muscle-ups.

BTW, Chuck Liddell, (a local boy), is the new Light Heavy UFC Champ; by KO of Randy Couture in 2:09 of the first round. And if an Illinois farm-boy named Matt Hughes hollers 'My Shout!' in any bar I'm in, I believe I'll drink.
