Overall
Not my best performance, but considering the circumstances, I'm happy. I've had two meals today consisting of peanut butter with toast and a protein shake. My water intake is about 500ml if I count the moisture in the bread. I have two slightly sprained thumbs (not fun during thrusters!), and my bicep tendons are screaming from all the push/pull during BJJ on Saturday. Other than that, I feel great!

Tomorrow is my last day before Montreal, but I have pretty much all of my errands taken care of.

Been following your journal since I stumbled upon it about a week ago. 20 lbs heavier than you, but similiar physique. Right now I'm 200lbs @ ~7-8%bf. Like to get down to about 190lbs @ 5% bf. Using your journal as a source of motivation and to compare times. Glad I found this. Thanks and keep going strong.

Overall
Just not my day. The 495 came up slow. I felt like I wasn't comfortable in my stance and couldn't get any power through my hips. Not sure why. I think I'll bring back 5x5 deads since I haven't been doing them lately. I'm really not impressed with this ... but I'm trying not to get ****y about it.

Overall
This was a lot of fun! We took the metro and met Sylvia downtown and then walked to the YMCA (nice gym, btw). I've always liked her personality on the forum, but it does not do her justice! She's the sweetest and friendliest person you can imagine. Jodi and I both had a great time training with her. After making the local gym patrons wonder wtf we were doing all afternoon, we walked through downtown Montreal and found a restaurant. Had some good food and laughs, but I think we were all feeling tired and called it an early night. I wish we had more time in town, but I'm sure we will be back to visit ... in warmer weather!!

It's pretty sad that I'm training AND working while on "vacation" ... but what can ya do. No access to a gym today, so I did 100 burpees for time. The first half were done fast and smooth, then I started to break down. I hate burpees!

Bench Press 180lbs x 23, 15, 12, 11, 11 = 72 (+5 reps)
Chinups BW x 23, 15, 12, 11, 15 = 76 (+7 reps)

Jodi (BW=110)
Bench Press 75lbs x 12, 12, 12, 11, 10 = 57 (+5 reps)
Chinups BW x 10, 9, 8, 7, 8 = 42 (-11 reps, better range of motion)

Overall
Back from Montreal and decided to give Lynne another shot. Improved overall, but for some reason this workout always makes me feel sick.

Overall
I wasn't sure how I'd do on hang cleans since my right foot/ankle/calf are pretty useless right now. Hopefully they will be better before the tournament on Saturday, but as of right now I still have a slight limp and cannot stand on my tip toes with my right foot. That makes it pretty difficult to get a good extension/shrug going.

Anyway, I pushed through and managed a 5lbs PR after dumping 210 twice. The first time I think the girl on the legpress crapped her pants. lol. I was actually happy with my attempts at 210, because I was fully committed to the lift and only had to dump the weight when in an atf squat position (wasn't quite fast enough to get under). And the 200/205 were a lot easier than last time.

The 3 rounds were done to satisfy a friend ... I'm not sure why he asked me to do it ...

Jodi did awesome and hit 2 PRs, and almost had 90 ... just broke mentally when trying to drop under. It's a bit intimidating to drop below a bar that weighs almost as much as you, but she'll get it next time.
