Why am I being forced to register for the Games to get access to the games site? I can't find any way to bypass the login/registration page. I could this morning, but now it goes right to the login page.
looks like something's wrong with the https version.

go to http://games.crossfit.com (http instead of https; w/fs)

Now that 15.1 and 15.1a is over, it is time for 15.2 predictions.

I think 13.5 is a good candidate for this year's repeat workout: 3 rounds of 15 thrusters @ 100# and 15 c2b, and if you finish in 4 minutes, you get another 4 minutes on the clock.

Looks like Nick Urankar is in the top spot at the moment with Rich Froning and Mat Fraser tied for second!

I would love to see a CrossFit Verve team with Matt Chan and Camille Leblank-Bazinet...

Interesting to see both of them re-doing 15.1/A when both of them said they wont do it. Liars ;)

Also...Urankar won by quite a margin over both Rich and Fraser, new contender for this year podium spot? clearly 15.1/A is a good sign of engine, pacing and strength...unless he is weak at some more specific movements, like MUs...

Re: 2015 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread

Question for you all, what did Crossfit offer Rich to go team? I fully expect him to win the Open this year, I think he could make it championship #5 this year. My thought is that Rich is tired of the drag and says he's retiring Dave Castro then says he can't lose his #1 asset and so they cut a deal with Rich going to the team competition. It's a perfect strategy, I watched 2 or 3 events on the team side but if Rich is there I'll watch as many as I can. What I'm wondering is; did Crossfit entice Rich into this with something we don't know about? Or did Rich jump into this all on his own??

I've followed Urankar for several years in the Central East. He is a strong Regional contender and qualified for the Games at least once.

Urankar's weakness is pacing or recovery. Historically he has some really great workouts early in the competition, but drops off later in the weekend. As the Open is one workout per week, he may be able to recover and perform more consistently.
