I just did my body weight for an overhead squat (185lbs). Just wondering if that was good and should I go up if I can do 155lbs for 10 reps?

I personally think that is excellent. I'm assuming that is 1RM.

Your course of action depends on your goals.

Personally, I say get 15 reps at bodyweight and then move up. So right now you are probably 145-150 for 15 reps.

Keep working this range and getting that up and then you will have a solid foundation.

I'm not doubting your performance but make sure that you have exquisite form. OHS is something that can really screw you up if you have a lot of weight in a compromised position. Sometimes we like to muscle our way through a 1RM just for ego.

Nice work. Build a foundation (virtuosity). Good luck.

A BW OHSQ gets a gold star.

I agree with Stanley, reps at BW.
