A girl at our box was doing push presses and when she pushed up both wrist snapped. She is a small girl and was only using 55lbs.

how old is she? Has she done 55 lbs before. It looks like bilateral distal radius fractures, that is a pretty rare occurrence

She is late twenties. She has been doing CF for three months now this was one of her first attempts at that weight. Yes very rare just curious how many others had seen it.

Wow that's odd...I mean, if she's ever sat on the floor and used her hands to help push her up, she would have put far more than 55lbs of pressure on her wrists. Even pushing open a heavy door could be that much force. Does she have any history of osteoporosis or osteopenia?

None that we know of. She is a small girl but maybe needs more milk.
