Back feeling like bricks.

Are you going to measure yourself against Cindy after your rest or just skip it? Because I have no idea right now !

Richard, You changed your avatar! Was that you on old avatar with the barbell also? Not doing Cindy until next time HQ has it out as a WOD. Take it easy. Later.

Ok, just had to check main page one more time befor I totally distance myself from the internet tomorrow. DIANE will not be a good idea because of the CrossFit Total Challenge on Saturday. That confirms the 2 days REST as planned. CrossFit Central is inviting everybody for dinner on Friday night (the night before). Can't wait to meet fellow crossfitters!!! :pepper: This will be a blast !!!

Hi Erin,

Ok, gotta admit I can't stay away from this CrossFit addiction. My husband is starting to notice my zealousness that he wants me to email him today's WOD. He doesn't have time to look at the website; that's how busy he is. I'll send him CINDY. He used to be in BB big time back in the 80's. The time efficiency in the workouts really intrigue him. Pretty soon he'll be posting on the main page WOD comments. I'll let him drink the rest of the kool-aid on his own terms.

Did you ever notice my CrossFit apron on the new avatar? You can barely see the logo. I was getting ready to cook Greg Privitera's pancake recipe, which, btw, tasted really yummy! He needs a feedback on his thread sometime this weekend.

CrossFit Central has invited the attendees to dinner tonight at Pappisto's Restaurant. Wish you were here to join in the fun, too! :)

Have fun with the WOD today - more DLs but HSPU is a good mix. That should keep everyone at globs staring right?!

I'll email you this weekend. Later.

Hi Veronica,

The smaller version is available at Target in the fitness accessories/equipment section. This method of stretching is called Self Myofascial Release (SMR). Fascia is the fibrous and opaque tissue that surrounds the muscle tissues. Back in the 80's we used tennis balls. You roll the MUSCLE on top of the foam an inch at a time and hold at the tender spot for 15-30 seconds before rolling further. Triathlon and marathon clients with no medical condition use this before and/or after their events/activities.

Anyway, be careful when you recommend this to someone else. Special populations with chronic diseases like Diabetes, Coronary Heart Disease, Osteoporosis/Osteopenia and Cancer will need their physician's approval first. SMR is NOT for people with Peripheral Arterial Disease and Hypertension/High Blood Pressure.

Hope that helps. :tmi: is better than less in this topic...sorry to ramble too much. More is more in this case! :D

Later

Oh wow! How did I miss that. I actually did Cindy but didn't post it here yet...got diverted....posted on the main page. So I was confused why you were asking about that WOD. But if I was Gant Grimes of Wichita TX, it would be a supplemental WOD to today's DIANE even if it was done just a few days ago, of course. Have you checked out his thread? That guy's got some wacky beastly program going on.

Anyway, thanks for pointing that out. I need to copy my Wednesday main page comments to my log here. DuRRRRRR!

Enjoyed CrossFit Central's CROSSFIT TOTAL Challenge.
Won 52k category and Overall Women (only because Lisa Bender---bada$$ CrossFit Central crossfitter failed all her 3 squat attempts - freakin' 205#). :super: She's is very strong, though! A silent strong contender for the big event in Cali - Texas will be well represented !
