Goblet squat and kettle bell warmup.

Deadlifts, working up from 135x10.
Anyone who knows me knows I "add it up at the end".
Today, the end was 415#, and it felt pretty light, like I might have got a PR if I'd pushed it, but didn't feel like pushing it. Here's the video. It's cool to see how the bar bends!

(Knees to Elbows were as I as I could get them since my calluses were swollen from the Pull ups and I couldn't get a good grip!)
[I]Did this as part of my buddy's PT group. I was the slowest in the group up to the Push Ups. They were harder than one would think! Kept braking up the movements in subset of ~5, except for the sit ups, did them in subsets of 10. This one was just keeping moving. I ended up finishing 1st in the group even though I was the oldest!! Love it when that happens! :D[/I]

Gladiator Rock 'n Run in San Diego
1:11, about midway for 50-59 age group.

Was not running for time since I ran with a group of 6 that eventually splintered into two groups of 3. 7 km with about 18 obstacles. Some of the obstacles were really fun, including having to dodge paint ball pellets, a rope climb -- they put knots in the rope to make it easier but it did not help me, just screwed up my normal climbing pace --, a cargo net climb and steep sloped wall with rope to pull myself up and over and lots of mud (actually water) hazards. Given the 90+ degree heat, the water was awesome. Group shower at the end was just a bonus!

Turns out I was 16th out of 56, not including that young kid Carleton who was in the 40-49 group and whom I beat, and basically tied with Kenji since we tried to cross the line together but were separated by about 0.10 second.

Walked 3 miles.

65# Grace in 1:42 (was shocked at around 17 reps when I still hadn't broken) Only took a three second break after 25 reps. This was the best I've ever felt doing that type of WOD.
