You see, I should know by now to double check anytime Ryan tells me I did a workout wrong.
3 x WU: 25 double unders 15 hips and back extensions 15 GHD situps 10 burpees 5 muscle ups 5 x 5 push jerks 135-185-205-225(4)-205 4 rounds run 400m 50 squats 11:57 I played two games yesterday, in the pouring rain (the best weather for football), and didn't have time for the WOD before work. However, I couldn't skip on the run/squat WOD, so I doubled up today. I'm not too happy with the push jerks; I've definitely done better. The run squat time isn't my best time, but it isn't my worst either. Honestly, I wasn't expecting to set any PR's today. I was feeling pretty beat down. We were shorthanded yesterday, and I was in on every single play (offense, defense and special teams) of the second game. I also didn't eat very well yesterday, which I could definitely feel today. |

10 45# OHS 10 hip and back extensions 10 deadhang pullups 10 GHD situps 10 parrallete HSPU's 5 rep Back Squats: 135-225-315-345-365-385-405 tabata pushups: 15-15-15-15-15-15-13-12 I love squats! 405 was the goal walking in the door, and I hit it pretty solid. I might have tried 425, but I was short on time. Tabata pushups were an improvement of 5 reps for the tabata score and 13 reps for the total. |

I think I may have given up on it a little bit, which kind of ****es me off. I finished the round of 11 with only 8 seconds to spare, and that little doubting voice started to creap in and whisper, "You're not going to get the next one." I have to learn to tell that mofo to shut the **** up. |

I didn't get to do it the first time around, because I was gearing down to recover for the Games. I should have looked at some of the previous times, because looking at it on paper I was thinking this would be a 5-7 minute WOD. I really thought that I was going to get through this one without taking my hands off of the bar. Man, was I wrong. |

Still, this one was tough. |
