so i destroyed my (unflexible at best) wrist while playing hockey and have been out of commision for 3 weeks now, how long should it take? it still hurts like hell and was swollen up the first week. also how can i make my wrist more flexible for o lifts in the future?

Did you get it checked to see if it's not broken?
Did you ice a lot to help keep swelling down? Compression would've helped too (basically RICE).
First thing you want to get back is flexibility and yes it's going to hurt. Ice it up after stretching and work towards getting the mobility back (also massage the muscles around the area as they tend to lock up).
