So no matter if "you" are competing scaled, open, teen, masters or team everyone does 15.1-15.5? Or is there different OPEN WORKOUTS for each of those events?
Help me out Gang trying to pass this info around at the gym I go to since there is a handful of "masters" and a lot of people interested in the new "scaled" divison. Thanks |

I think it's just a matter of each workout having scaling options. For example, take 14.1 from last year. 30 doubles, 15 snatches. Rx may be as stated with weight loads of 75/55, 65/45 for Masters. As it turned out, the "snatch" was clarified as "any shoulder to overheard." This year, they may restrict that purely as true snatches, and then allowed scaled to do "shoulder to overhead." Further, scaled may be 75 singles instead of doubles.
I would assume everyone will be doing, at heart, the same workout; scaled will just back off weights and tone down more advanced movements. |

Castro's Instagram mentioned Muscle ups, Deadlift and Burpees.. wonder if that will be true.. most hints he gives seem to ring true.. just don't know duration, AMRAP or chipper, weights... getting heavier or something new like getting lighter, reps or order..

Sort of agree. Why would he drop hints so early? He clearly had fun doing so last year once the Open got going, but to be giving 15.1 so much attention by hinting a month out seems unusual. |

He did it with the chipper and again with the open workout 14.5.. yes no reps just the two exercises. Just hints.. Plus if you watch the show talks about Mainsite workouts 30 muscle ups for time strict.. hope not strict. All signs lead to towards Muscle ups in 15.1 but who really knows.
