Re: Nik
Hope its all feeling better now Nik. Well done on your finishing 4th in the memorial day competition. We are all doing 'Murph' on Saturday to raise money, I get to wear the 20lb vest also.
Thanks, I am feeling better, well my back is. I have some really bad doms, and cant do a HSPU to save my life. So I will bee seeing what I can do today. The 4th place was a good win for my team. we split the 400pushups and me and the girl with me finished and picked up another 50 plus reps. So it was a bit slow there but in the end it was a blse and happy with the 4th place. 20lbs vest, I need to get mine back on. I havent used it in a LONG time. what do you think about todays workout? |
Re: Nik
10:00
break daily squat 115lbs x3 185lbs x1 235lbs x1 285lbs x1 320lbs(145k) xfx1 wooo that was tough. I was wondering about it after yesterday, but it was ok. Shoulders and ekbows really sore. quads tired too. The miss was form and fatigue a little. I went forward at the bottom and bailed. I threw the bar backwards ,un racked the weight, put it all back on and got the next rep ok, slow but ok. Knees wanted to go in. The reps was all about shoving my knees out. |
memorial day team comp
300 pullups 400 pushups 500 situps 600 squats in 4 person teams with two people working at a time. time 32:07 forth place out of 10 teams, not to bad. I was on a team with three girls. we brok into 2 man teams and split the reps in half, so me and another girl were responsible for half the workout. We finished each ''set'' firsty and took reps off our other two team mates. So we got the bigger load of reps. I ripped both palms on the pullups and got but rash from the situps. My hand are not to bad, I have done worse. Feeling some real doms in my ''beach'' muscles. I will try to catch up with everyones logs tomorrow.
Nice work on the team WoD in the competition!:highfive: Heal up fast Nik!
For great Crossfit shirts go to www.spammland.com. Could you have that link reinstated! Seriously though, thats the curse of having a log with as many posts and views as you have! People trying to leech! Anyway, stay strong Nik! Looks like its just about time to bump that daily squat up to 325!:super: |

Like the squats today. Whart usually takes me about 6:00min or so took me over 10:00. Eh the spammer did'nt bother me. He got blocked easy enough. |
Re: Nik
For time:
•80 DUs •30 Kettlebell Swings (2 pood) •30 Overhead Walking Lunges (25/15kg) •10 Wall-Climbs •80 DUs •10 Wall-climbs time 12:46 I subbed DUs for the 800M run, still taking it easy on the heel. DUs a bit tough with the shoulder fatigue. Broken all up on the first rounds. Had to fight not to spit the dummy. I was getting frustrated. Last set of DUs better but shoulder fatigue had me and i was stopping aftert 10 to 20 reps. KB swing I was going to try to go unbroken but brok at 10, 7( bad rep and I had to put it down but got right back on it,4/9 wall climbs were the worst. I almost could'nt do it at first. I got on to the wall and up in the pushup position and almost couldn't move my hads. It was slow singles. Second set better though, well faster any way. Glad to do the workout even with the doms. I was happy with my ''push'' to keep going. I was able to stay positive and keep moving. |
Re: Nik
Great work Nik , fast time even with the broken doubles, reckon you would of been fast with the runs. So funny with the t-shirt man, we should start a business on our logs with our sayings!! That would be legal.

Re: Nik
Up date finally.
First I have not stopped training. My computer was down so I have not posted. Yesterday was a rest mobility day with some snatch work. I have some real doms still from Monday. So the snatches were poor. Shoulders tired, core a bit unstable ect. Today I was out of the shop on an install so no real workout. I did get some squats done at 3:00 3:00 break squats all in 3 rep sets 115lbs x3 185lbs x3 235lbs x3 285lbs x3 285lbs x3 285lbs(129k) x3 as for my domes. I am getting better, today was just really sore except my left trycept is screaming, just putting my had on my head hurt, sore to the tuch. I will ice tonight and see what I can do tomorrow. |
