I was just curious as to whether or not any of you have read the book; Fat of The Land, by - vilhjalmur stefansson? I just started the book, great information. In referance to his experience with the Eskimo/Inuit and his experience with their all meat diet.

where did you find the book? I'm having trouble locating it on amazon, b&n, and other internet searches.

I actually went to my library and requested the book via an inter-library loan. It ended up coming to me from the University Of South Florida. Gotta love the local library :-)

I was reading around that site a bit... some good info, but it seems a bit fanatical. It even says that fiber is bad for you -_-;

I must say, there was a lot of stuff throughout the book that I had not encountered as of late. The tone was that nothing is needed other than meat and water. Seems pretty out there, however, his experience and that of the Inuit seem to paint that picture quite clearly. Also, I have went on all meat regimens for periods of time, quite frequently as of late, and I feel fabulous in doing so. I have heard, if you are totally fat adapted, and eat nearly all fat and protein, fiber may act as more irritant than anything. Just some thoughts.
