Climb: Bouldered at CRG with Brad for two hours. Sent a couple of new problems; very good. It's nice to see Brad climbing again. He's getting stronger quickly. Headed to The Red this weekend. Only Saturday and Sunday. We have the kids, so I can't offer to carpool. Sorry. |

Trip report: Red River Gorge, 9/4/2011-9/5/2011
Saturday: Fuzzy Undercling 5.11b (flash, warm-up) Possum Lips 5.10d (on sight) In the Light 5.10c (on sight) Sunshine 5.9 (on sight) All Things Considered 5.11d (hang dog) Sunday: Gung Ho 5.12b (hang dog, warm-up) I should have on-sighted All Things Considered. It's a really good technical face climb. The weather was so hot and humid that I was greasing off the crimps. If you haven't been on it, I would suggest doing so. Weather not withstanding, it was a good weekend. We're probably headed to The New next weekend. I hope you can join us. |

For time:
25 Walking lunge steps 20 Pull-ups 50 Box jumps, 20 inch box 20 Double-unders 25 Ring dips 20 Knees to elbows 30 Kettlebell swings, 2 pood 20 Hang power cleans, 35 pound dumbbells 25 Back extensions 30 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball 3 Rope climb ascents 19:57 The original workout had 30 sit ups as well. I skipped those on accident when I was writing the workout down. They would have added about a minute to the time. I also substituted hang power cleans for hang squat cleans. The hang squat cleans hurt my back a little when I was warming up. These would have taken a lot longer. |
