update on the weight lifting category - thanks to jason's suggestion there is now a drop down menu for the specific type of lift in the weight lifting activity - meaning that there is now a lift specific ranking for each as well...

please PM or email with q/comments.

i was just coming here to say how fast you got things working.

post your PRs!

it helps to know where you stand, and just by Rip's standards, but as compared to real everyday crossfitters!

we may however need an accompanying video thread for those who call 'shenanigans'.

good luck!

I think it's very cool that you've been posting the day's standings for that particular day's WOD. Keep up the good work.

Two requests:
1. Being able to post cycling in miles as an option.
2. View standings on rowing by distance.

Thanks.

Re: Official Logsitall.com Thread - Post Here!

wade - glad you are enjoying logsitall - thanks for using it.

re #1: are you happy with the fields of data that i have set up for cycle in KM? if so i'll set up one for cycle in miles that has the same set of fields.

re #2: you can already do this one - thanks to the advanced standings pages. If you go to standings/advanced and select rowing you can then select "highest is best" under meters and you'll see the highest number of meters rowed in any one workout. If you want to see who has rowed the farthest in a given time (like a 30 minute challenge) then put 30 into the minutes field, and select meters "highest is best" and you'll see the 30 min ranking. You can then save this to your profile so you can run it again without having to set it up.

Please let me know how you make out.

Bill,

Is there a CrossFit affiliate or Facility in Vermont right now? I grew up in Vermont, joined the Marines when I graduated from MMUHS. Class of 97. I am looking to open a affiliate when I retire. Grant it, it's 9 years away, however I don't believe it's that big in the North East yet?

Ken

ken - i haven't found an affiliate exactly - however there is a facility in stowe vermont - the swimming hole - that has started to incorporate cf style workouts into some of their programs - when you are ready they might be interesting in talking with you. i bet there will be a real market ready for you when you come back.

ps - both my daughters are going to go to MMUHS in a few years...

Bill,

I would love it if my kids went to MMU, when I retire, all three will go, if the market for fitness is good, and there is land still available to buy. Maybe I could bring CrossFit to the Cougars athletic teams or UVM!
What year did you go to MMU?
Have you attend at Certification seminar yet?

Ken

Re: Official Logsitall.com Thread - Post Here!

ken and others:
i've set up cycle (miles) as an activity - so if you want to log cycle workouts in miles you can. this also turns cycling into a ranked event...

ken - i didn't actually go to MMU - i grew up in upstate new york - but my daughters will eventually go there (i hope)...

It's still a work in progress, but I wanted to show people what type of integration is possible with LogsItAll. (and show off just a little bit, hehe) Michael at CrossFit Charlotte. (w/f s).

This enabled a beta version of our theme at CFC. Go back to regular theme. (w/f s).

Scroll half-way down to below the photo. And then click on either of the LogsItAll headings.

When you click on the heading, and AJAX (web 2.0) call is done that pulls in the raw HTML table from logs it all, and inserts it into the page without re-loading the entire page. (clicking on the title again hides the table)

Right now the code that I'm using is written in PHP on the serverside, and javascript on the client. To do this level of integration at this point requires access to the source PHP files, and probably some development experience. It's still a work in progress. Right now I'm working on parsing the XML feed that Bill has available, rather than pulling back HTML. :stir: This will allow me to further customize not only the way it looks, but the way you interact with the data.

Do everything ya can to support this amazing app! Enter your own logs, encourage your gym owners to integrate with their site! It's all good!
