What is your favorite exercise to do???

And what do you think is the hardest exercise??

Jibreel Freeland 06-12-2006 01:00 AM

My favorite exercise? Sprinting. The hardest? I dunno.

Jesse Woody 06-12-2006 02:50 AM

My favorite is the snatch, followed closely by the clean & jerk. I think the hardest exercise will change from one person to the next, but I would say free-standing handstand pushups is probably up there for most people.

Favorite: Bench (I know the general opinion, I just don't care)
Hardest: a proper L-sit for any significant length of time.

Scott Kustes 06-12-2006 04:26 AM

Favorite: Clean
Hardest: L-sits (I can't even get close to a freestanding handstand, so can't really count that one).

I have a feeling Coach will be reading this thread and coming up with something NASTY!

There is no limit to envisioning the "hardest" exercise.

one arm planche pushup anyone?

Favourite exercise - in true crossfit style i'm trying not to have a favourite. Favourite would suggest that i'm doing it easily and that means i can work on it heavier and make it less likeable.

In general my favourite exercise is the one that i need to do to improve my performance. I hate squats and overhead work but at the moment i've made them my favourite exercises.

Everything is hard!

But really, my favorite is: ring pushups & ring dips.

Hardest: ring flyes & hanstand pushups.

I love all the overhead stuff also.

My favorite exercises have gotta be one of these three: squat clean, tabata squats, or one arm clean and press. I can't narrow it down any further than those three.

As for the most difficult exercise to perform, it has to be the Close-to-Impossible or to press from a maltese to a planche on rings multiple times (like an unsupported ring flye).

I figured this would be cool to post.

Favorite: overhead squat
Most difficult: overhead squat

Close runner-up on favorite is the barbell thruster.

Most difficult is from the small pool of exercises that I do/am capable of doing.

I'm on a real db swing kick lately, have been ending every session with 55# tabata swings. Gotta love a HR of 220+ at my age.

Of the stuff I can do effectively I think high rep DLs are the hardest. Think Linda.
