Hello. I've lifted on and off for several years wiht minimal success. I've seen this program and it looks good. My question is, how exactly does this work. Do you alternate with a new "daily workout" each time, or have a routine. And if it is a routine, which would be the best for a 6ft, 160 lb. guy. Sorry for long post, but any info would be good

Just follow the work out of the day (WOD). Some things you may need to modify a bit (lots of pullups/dips in place of muscleups) but the WOD will take care of you!

I don't know about the other folks on the site, but I've been doing Crossfit for quite a while now -- varying the frequency now and again -- and I've found that it helps to pick a few WODs as benchmarks and retest yourself periodically.

Although not strictly neccessary, I like to mark my progress even if it's only noticing that a particular workout doesn't bring me close to passing out after a while.

Give it a couple of months and by all means check out the archives. I have a small notebook with my favorite WODs and notes on how I feel/ how I objectively perform them.

Also, if it helps, I'm about 5'10" and 159 and my bodyweight tends to remain stable on Crossfit.
