Tuesday- went to the velodrome for the first time in over 6 years. The program on the phone was not that accurate so don't know the speed. Felt ok to get on the banking.

Wed was active recovery and teaching the rowing class. 5600 meters for me. I think day 33 or so.. almost 100k meters so far. Best effort was 500 meters at 1:38 pace.. then did some bar muscle up practice.

The strict pull ups, kipping pull ups and the c2b were really good.

Thursday- track day in LA, Carson to be exact. That track is a bit scary. 250 meters, 45 degree banking in the turns. Slippery to say the least. Training with my friend TC. We have not ridden together in over 6 years. On the 14th we have the world championships. Goal is to do our best and have fun. The min its not fun is the min we lose.

Did about 8-10 efforts from 80m to 250 meters. Got up to 35.5 mph.. need to get up to 36+. I had a slow back wheel on so that might be good for a few .1's.

Plus the event and having my teammates counting on me to get them up to speed will push the effort.

My watts are basically the same but my power to the pedals is not as much. But I do have a few sessions of practice to get the final shine.

Black hat is on Vic.

Competing in a 35+ comp this Saturday, and I'm not a fan of my competition, couple of them said we have it easy in our division and another called it fun PE. I'm going to show them how fun losing really is.

You would like the final:
9 Power Clean 175, 9 bar muscle ups
run 200
6 PC , 6 bmu
run 200
3 PC, 3 bmu
run 200

Hit 5.30 unbroken in practice, touch n go on the power clean

Scott, That is an amazing time for that work. Unbroken is sick!! Get them for sure. Show them how the old guys roll. Its been a while for me showing the young guys. Last December our team was in 1st place after 2 workouts. Top 10 was mostly all regional teams of 3. Was funny seeing our team ahead of the likes of Sam Dancer, Julian Alkatraz (sp).. The Invictus teams.. then we hit a max clean dropped 4 spots.. hehe.. top guys were hitting 405#.

I have been involved in domestic issues with my GF daughter. My life might change from part time grand pappy to full time care giver.. Love that little girl.

So my training yesterday was drive to courts, assist in paperwork, help with details.. 6AM to 9PM.

I gotta think that all of this will make me stronger.

Saturday is the race, World Championships. In my yacht racing career our boat was un defeated for 5 years total so 5 for 5, Crossfit is 4th and 8th. We will see but this is just a dress rehearsal for next years championship with some actual training.

Tuesday was not the best day on the track. I need to start vomiting power come Saturday.

Thursday.. taking care of the grand baby.. so cute.

Rode the trainer did some max watt efforts with a slow wheel.

Max was 1575 or so and most around that number. Solid.

Ready to vomit some power on Saturday around 10AM.

Way behind on the rowing. Its going to take an extra hour to catch up.. hehe..

After the event on Saturday going to head up to Venice beach and celebrate with my GF our 8 years of knowing each other.
