Played it safe today. My back is still not 100% from last time so I went with the 235. First 2 round I was a bit sore, but the last rounds were good and solid. Happy enough. Damn the pride!

Oh left glute pretty sore through out, I'll roll it later.

Stopped there, I felt a pain in my back on the second pull and called it. I feel fine now and I will roll at 3:00 to be sure. I think the KB from yesterday has my back tired. Happy with it as it is, I haven't done any deads in atleast a month.

Thanks for that link Nik. I was having trouble rolling out of bed, watched that on my phone, and it got me right up. Very inspiring.

1. cln+push jerk+jerk: 1+1+1 x 5 sets. you select the weight.
Squat cleans Weight at 185lbs two misses, lack of focus.
2. good mornings: 3 x 5 reps
3. weighted sit ups x 100 with 25lbs plate over head reps at 30/10/10/20/20

Last time I hit 300 for 3 reps but last rep was ugly

Today 305 was rough on the second rep, core is tired, I am not fresh, but I am happy to squat today. I try to squat twice a week and today is twice and it is at the end of this cycle after the deads and clean work. I'm just asking to much for it today. But still good lift. It was what I expected.

I love rest day today. I'm rolling and streching today and I will be loving it. My hip flexers and legs in general are fried.

Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball
Box jump, 24 inch box
Kettlebell swings, 1.5 pood

done and no time, I had to use my stop watch on my phone and I got a text and it turned off my timer. So no time. It had to have been forever anyway, wall ball killed me. Killed the box jumps too, but KB was good though.

You got it done nik. That's all that matters. Looks like a really tough workout, tons of reps.

I racked the jerks. I could have done this faster but last time I got hurt on the 4th round, so it was a big mental psyche out to get passed the workout with out getting hurt again. I just wanted to finish the workout and I'm really happy with the time.

I did rip my hand and bleed a bit. I didn't even feel it bit I got a blood blister on my ring finget on my right hand and ripped it. it doest hurt and isnt real bad.

LAST TIME
BIG FAT DNF DID NOT FINISH!!!

I was on the cleans on the 4th set and on rep 6 I caught it low on my chest and heard a ''POP'' like when you pop your fingers but bigger and alot of pain. I crumpled from it, felt arround didn't know what I did. After a bit iI tried another rep and caught it good, but still feeling pain. Stood arround, (Brady had stopped the clock at this point)

I thought I would finish the workout anyway Biut I picked up the bar and soreness. Tried Bradys 115bar cleaned it easy but holding the bar in rack position the weight pressing down hurt.

Well there it is.

Really good work. I can't touch DT RXd. I did it today for the first time. In the 3rd round I caught my self on the chin with the bar on the last rep of jerks because I had fallen into the trap of trying to watch the bar rather than keeping my alignment. Chin is still sore.

Great work on getting through the workout injury free Nik. That always feels good. Theres one hero workout that I have to still do and come out injury free on the other side.

Thanks, I'm suprised you face the same problem. I tell you it really is a mental battle to face upto. Brady was talking to me about scaling it to get a better metcon.

I told him I was looking at it two ways. yea I could scale it and get a better metcon, or I can RX it and face the fear of it. Two totally different choices. I'm glad I faced it as I did.

Mainpage gives us enough metcon Nik. In my opinion, its better than you didn't scale it for metcon. You'll be stronger from not scaling it and that will probably do more for your metcon than scaling it would.

Good point. I do agree the mainpage gives up enough/ to much metcon. plus I agree you are right, doing that workout heavier will make me that much stronger. Still facing that fear was great.
