I had a good time and definitely feel like I have a lot more in me - on both lifts. Just need to practice more.

Did the 'Battle of the Boxes' on Saturday. Team competition. It was me and 5 GIRLS!!! All of the dudes at the box are apparently chicken **** :-)

Anyway it was 3 WODs that involved OHS @ 95, Pull-ups, Deadlifts @ 225, HSPU an power snatch @ 115.

I did a bunch of those...fun time - didn't really care to time myself or keep track of reps. the only thing I do remember is that I did 37 straight overhead squats.

54:28 chip time. PR. Felt really good for the 1st half...then like crap. Also. I wasnt out of breath at all but my legs were shot.

27:53 Rx'd - Officially moved to 180 as my BW So I used 180 on the bench..

This was a PR - and last time I did it I used (and weighed) 165. Pretty cool I guess...

The box was doing 'Cindy' or 'Mary', and I had a 6:30 cancellation so I found the opportunity to WOD with the group! Woohoo!

Did 'Cindy' Way off my PR but the 1st time I've done them with 'real chest to deck' push-ups.

For those of you that think you're doing C2D push-ups. You're probably not.

16 + 1 Pull-up. Blaahh...

Did some easy clean and jerks yesterday. I'm going to try to up my volume a bit to see if that fixes my constant soreness. Seems like I don't bounce back the same anymore.

Rough day today. I planned on about 35 mins to finish this WOD - assuming it would take me way less time as I had a meeting scheduled.

3 Rounds for time
10 muscle ups
10 forward rolls
20 one legged squats, alternating
20 yard handstand walk

28:30 - 2 rounds only. Muscle ups gave me lots of trouble and took way too long. Not sure if it's bodyweight related or a bad day. handstand walks were easiest. forward rolls were different but okay. Pistols sucked as always.

I kind of messed up the plates and I think I did one of these twice but it was something like

1 - 215. Not sure if it's a PR or not...need to check.

Then I did Vinny's little go to WOD of death by 10 meters...I'm scheduled to do a sprint WOD but the weather won't allow for that right now.

Today was a 'just get the damn thing done already!' WOD. Snow and ice all down the street, rope climbs were a nightmare and doing 'real' push-ups suck.

Run 800m
5 Rope climbs, 15 feet. (Our rope is 18 so I did 5 climbs the first round and 4 the next 4 rounds)
50 Push-ups - Chest to deck. Slightly hollow.

81:20 - Rx'd. I think this was the longest CF WOD I've ever done. Rope climbs are a killer but I'm over 180 right now so that's what I get I guess. :)

I made it through the first 7 rounds with the 25# DB which was kind of a PR, I only made it through 5 last time. I know I missed a few of the strict pull-ups in the latter rounds but didn't want to come off the bar. Also, I wiggle my way up when I get fatigued...I need to stop this. I know. Anyway my time was...

33 something. Last time was 29 but I wasn't really going for time towards the end my form was just getting too bad. Switched to a 15# db for the last 3 rounds.

Also tried chin grip for one round and switched to pull-up grip for kippin. That was dumb...made it harder.

Tail between my legs day...

Attempted the following workout

5 Rounds for time
5 Deadlift
5 Ring HSPU

I picked 295 for the deadlift because I hadn't ever done over 275 in a metcon. I also went sumo just because I'm mor comfortable with that. Also, for some reason I'm having trouble getting upside down on the rings - anyway. That wasn't a big deal. The problem was my right shoulder (the back of it) hurts when doing that movement - along with butterfly kip. It hurts a little bit, but the scary part is that if feels like something is going to snap. That being said, I probably used too heavy of a weight on the deadlifts and I didn't want to blow my shoulder out so I only finished 3 rounds.

185 pound barbell Overhead walk, 40 meters
30 Wallball shots, 20 pound ball
95 pound barbells Farmer carry, 40 meters

The barbells must be turned around the cone.

Did a going away workout for Terry - it was a partner WOD. Some running, wallballs, wheelbarrows, partner thrusters. Fun! Not ultra intense but it was something.

Not gonna really chance running these in the dark. Don't really have time during the day - so I rowed. I really want/need to run these sprints though as it's a tremendous weakness. Well. I suck at rowing too.

Is that the workout from the hyperfit challenge last month?

Ive been wanting to try that one but my ceiling is too low for dus.
