backwards hop?
 
Is it good or bad? On my snatch, I land like a foot back and this causes bar to be way out in front of me when i receive it. How do i correct this? Im not intentionally trying to do this, but it just happens.

If it was really a foot backwards then it would be an issue...those videos make it only look like a few inches. 3-4" at the most. Not a really big deal, and you'll see plenty of top-level lifters who jump back slightly.
