Regionals Scheduling Question

Taking my son to the South Regionals this year in Atlanta. We opted for just the Friday/Saturday tickets and I'm wondering what time in the morning the competition generally starts. I'm assuming it will be either an 8am or 9am start time, but nothing is currently listed on the schedule. Is that guess reasonable?

Not looking forward to the Atlanta traffic. :)

figure 0900 start times.
usually the volunteers and judges have to be on site at 0700 for briefings, set up, and walk through.

Athlete briefings are generally at 0800 then everyone disappears to warm up.

I think they usually start at 8am with the first team event.

Last year, team workouts were in the morning and individual events in the afternoon, so it depends on what you're hoping to see.

Ah, sorry!! I have tickets to the Atlantic regional. Got confused since this region is South East.

Why would the regions for the Open and the Regionals have the same name when you can confuse everyone!!! :)

Just wanted to follow up on this. I bought a Saturday ticket for the south regionals this year. Is there a schedule of the events and times for each day of the regionals? I can only go for a few hours so was hoping to hit the individual competitors but can't seem to find a schedule saying what starts and when. Thanks!

James, the last couple of years they have had all the team workouts in the morning between about 9 and 12 or so, followed by the individuals. The WOD setups are typically different enough between team and individual that this makes sense.
