1 month to train...Help!!!!

I have 1 month or so to train for a Highland Games competition that I am going to compete in on August 22. I have not competed in about 3 years cause I have been too busy. I was going to wait until next year but I looked it up and I am deciding to go for it. What do I have to loose. This is where I need your guys help.

I need a 1 month training plan to get me in the best possible shape. Currently I am in ok shape but not crossfit shape. I just got back into it this week. What will get me the best results (strength) in the smallest amount of time. Any and all suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Chris

Uhhh, it's a little too late for you to get anywhere appreciably stronger. You need to plan these things out at least 4+ months in advance... but preferably like a year or more.

Conditioned, sure.

Depends on what the events are.

steven is right. its too late to benefit from any program.
i would say your best bet is to try to prepare for each event. just practice those events at the most 3 days a week before the event. give yourself 4-5 days before the event to rest.

Thanks guys. I am going to rely on getting back into the lifting/crossfit routine to bring back muscle memory. This was a last second choice that I figured I did not have anything to loose so why not. My choice was to either wait til next year (March 2010) or go ahead and compete in late August. So I figured why not. Thanks for the reply's guys.:)
