Re: 2015 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread
Remember these 2 guys placed 1 and 2 at the CrossFit Games, not the "Heavy Barbell Games". Castro might want to make a point that these guys are more than just good lifters. Could just be a light burner...
That would be a waster of their both's time. Anything but hard and fast will be a surprise on my side, I am quite positive there will be barbells. Id love to see some heavy deadlifing, real heavy. |
Re: 2015 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread
Triples?? There will NOT be triples in the Open, I'm willing to bet my job on that.

Re: 2015 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread
Why did froning decide to compete in team? Is he trying to help ramp up the interest in it, or maybe help push it toward becoming a more legitimate team sport outside of the crossfit games?

He's not going to go solo if he can't win and at this point he said he needs to spend more time with his wife and new child.

I see a rig, 295lbs of plates and a box.
I'm sure some or all of it won't be used and they're just putting stuff out to mess with people but that's all we have to go off of for now. |
Re: 2015 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread
We all are forgetting its the Open and it needs to be relatively easy, so masses can do it too.
So what I feel is some kinda ladder type. Like 5 box jumps, 5 deads, 5 pullups, next 10 each, next 15, etc etc..until some timelimit hits. |

Re: 2015 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread
Well if we want a real hard workout that those elite two males can do, I am sure it would be too much even for some of the games athletes, so my guess is Castro will go a bit easier, but still hard enough to be impressive.
Also bear in mind, Castro wants a show, so surely it will be a WOD which will be quite equal till the end. |
