Back squats x3

185lbs
205lbs
225lbs
255lbs
285lbs

All I had time for. But that was fine, it was heavy today, maybe the thrusters killed the squats. But still good to get some in and keep at it.

Nice work on the metcon Nik. That one was a killer, the breathing got me too.

Nice work Nik. I follow your log (and lots of others) pretty regularly. I am very impressed with heavy squatting after that metcon. Yikes, I think I would just lay on the floor in a sweat angel. Thrusters are the devil !

Man was it ever?!?! I am kind of kicking myself not pushing through the last two sets of thrusters unbroken. You know how hind sight is.

Hey Jason, thanks for posting, I have seen you and you logs too, been watching you too. I am really working on getting my squats up, I am stalled at 300lbs for reps so I squeeze in 2 heavy sets a week on squats to try to get the numbers up. I fit it in where I can. I still do the mainpage and my main workout, so it is hard some times getting it all done.

A.M. warmup
30 reps all except the dang pullups!!:ranting2:

GHDs with 10lbs
Back ext 25 lbs
Abmatt situps with 45lbs bar
hand raise pushups
OHS with bar

Pullups

I did 1 set of max close underhand deadhang pullups for 25, then 5 sets of 1 rep(failier) I so wanted 30 reps but died at 25.

Rolled my back on peanut 2:00 min.

Elyse Umeda already made an excuse for you - in the video she said you it was hard to hit 1RM in a workout like this where you are going heavy 1 reps on different kinds of squats. :shrug:

But really, I hope you hit your goal!

All or nothing bud, all or nothing. I am pretty confident I can hit 300, it really depends on how the other lifts kill my legs. I have'nt even checked my stats from last time yet.
