Returning from recent microdiscectomy L5 S1

After 6 months off training and I'm 6 weeks out of hospital from the above operation. Recovery is painfully slow, minimal flexion at hips due to the nerve still not moving well in the sheath.

Any physio's out there you have successfully programmed rehab for clients with the above history.

Thanks in advance and I can provide more info if you need.

Dan.

I'm not a PT but just want to offer up encouragement!
Lots of info on the web, pretty soon you'll be :run:

With your history, I'd be surprised if any jump in and offer any real advice on a rehab program. Not every situation is the same. Your best bet is to fine one you can work with in person.
