Nik, your Helen time is a huge motivator for me. Thanks for posting. Helen was my first real WOD in a crossfit box about 2 weeks ago. I hit 12:28

What would you say contributed most to bringing your Helen PR down?

Hey man, good to have you on the log. Helen for me is pullups. That and keeping it unbroken. I do not run fast, I have never been fast so I try to make it up on the KB swings and pullups.

Honestly, if you get your pullups solid and what helped me on the KB swings was swinging the 2pood( 70 pounder) if you can get that going even in practice, it makes the 1.5 pood(53lbs) feel easy. Do you have a log?

Thanks, had a great weekend. Main page for me. CM2 is cleans too but with burpees. They do'nt have a rope, so if the mainpage has a rope climb I do it.

165 pound Clean 4 reps
15 foot Rope climb, 3 ascents
185 pound Clean 3 reps

205 pound Clean 2 reps
15 foot Rope climb, 1 ascent
215 pound Clean 1 rep

time 13:39

last 3 reps squat cleans, missed on rep at 205lbs. No real fire today. I did ok, but I have gone harder. Still it was fun.

235lbs x5
285lbs (129k) x5 ( this was a rough set, second rep I went forward and off my heels but saved the rep, the rest were ok but slow)

Good work on the main site wod Nik, what did you find the hardest part? I can imagine grip getting tough.

No. grip was ok. just trying to do the ''heavier'' cleans. Trying to will myself to pick up the bar after breathing hard from the rope.

30 GHDs with 10 lbs plate, tuch floor, tuch toe with plate
30 back exrt 25lbs plate
30 ab matt situps with 25lbs plate over head
30 pushups
30 OHSs with bar

dead hang pull ups
10 wide C2B
10 close over hand
10 close under hand

HSPU 10,7,7,6

HSPUs not as strong today.

This is why your going rope mad, would definately like to hit this workout. did you just clean or clean & jerk?
