I don't believe it, my 18 yr old son, who's never done crossfit just did a muscle up on my new rings. No kip, just from a deadhang with his knees bent.:ranting2: I took him out to the garage to try to impress him and show him that I could do a few ring dips. Then I explained to him what a muscle up was and kind of demo'd it while standing up and showed him the false grip. Then I told him that you're considered a crossfit stud when you can do one hanging. So he gets on the rings and does one on his first try without a whole lot of effort. Then he says,"wow let me see if I can do it again." So he does another!!! I should have known better then to try to impress my boys. The last time I took my 16 yr old with me on a metcon, he smoked me. And now this:confused: Guess there's something to be said for youth.

No it is great your boys are that fit, if challenging you keeps them going you will have done your job. You have to keep pushing yourself to push them. Look up front and back lever and get them to try that. |

Thanks, it was tough but good. I may have a suprise for you if Brady can get it sorted out. 3:00 break 5 MU's clean and jerk practice to 135lbs hand stand practice, kick up and hold. I got a good few seconds, it felt good. I haven't yet timed them, no real use to time yet. But I feel more solid now. |

I'm waiting on brady to post it, he got it on his phone, and is trying to get it on you tube. I don't know, maybe a couple of more rounds. I had to rounds where I ended up with singles, but picked myself up and got the 5 reps done after. But it would have been 1, MAYBE 2 rounds. I'll go see if Brady has the video workedout. |

Yeah, we both beat Australia's best :highfive: Seriously that 35 C2B's is impressive Nik, you know that if you get to 50 thats Elite standard for normal kipping head over pull ups.

Man I'm waiting for Brady to get it posted, I haven't see it either, I probably will not be the first to see it. I'm excited to get it posted. When I first started I go 50 head over, I want 50 C2B. In time I will get it. My hands ate SORE today after the 31reps at 10 then the 35, then weighted Cindy. But no tares, just the weird whie you get under the callus. Today looks murderous. I did some run/ shoulder press WOD back then for some reason. So this will be a first for me. |

Nice, I like the way you think. I'm the same. If I can do somthing good aftert I have done a killer workout, then when it comes time for like the qualifier, I will be on my game fresh. I cant wait for the 35. My hands can, but I can't. |

95 pound Thruster, 5 reps 95 pound Hang Powercleans, 7 reps 95 pound Sumo Deadlift High-pull, 10 reps CFWU x3 with 40 lbs MU's GHD's rounds 8 plus thrusters and cleans I thought I could get10 rounds, but I was going to slow from the start. Thrusters were cleand from the ground and un broken but slow, like 2 greaths inbetween reps. Cleans were fast and strong, sumos were in 5's. last time I got 8 rounds solid. |
