Alan Thrall's "How To" Videos.

Just randomly surfing YouTube when I came across Alan Thrall's channel. I hadn't heard of him before so I don't think he's achieved 'guru' status yet, but it's only a matter of time with videos like these (and that beard).

"How To" SQUAT - High bar/Low bar.

"How To" Deadlift

"How To" Bench Press.

"How To" Overhead Press.

"How To" Front Squat with poor mobility.

How to Squat BONUS: What shoes to wear when squatting.

How NOT to breathe.

NEVER say THIS before lifting an Atlas Stone/"HOW TO"

STRONGMAN/CROSSFIT - How to Flip a Tire.

These are my favorite instructional videos for the main lifts. They are very simple and informative and cover all the bases.

While I understand your wanting to learn things from Richard, I don't think he does as well of a job addressing people built differently than him. While his concepts are all obviously perfect for the dead, I think overall Alan's video does a better job, and seems more well put together.

I would venture to bet that's because Richard is going off of memory, while Alan is going off of a script.

That makes sense, but Richard's explanation how DL is a push not a pull opened my eyes nore than any other DL video, and Ive watched a ton of them as I struggled with its form.

This is good stuff.

Overall to the point but also smart enough to know not everyone has the same body so that certain cues are appropriate for different body types and motion types.

Found him a few months back. I've watched the squat video twice. I think his channel is amazing.
