i have a question about the bench press. after the 400m/body weight bench press wod, the fronts of my shoulders are wrecked. my tricepts and chest are also sore but my shoulders are much worse. is this normal for a bench press or is there something wrong with my form? if there is something wrong with my form can someone give me some queues for getting it right?
The bench press hits the anterior deltoids hard. Trying pulling the shoulder blades together to move the focus more to the chest and triceps. See Starting Strength for more info on correct form.
