Dude!!! Nice work! Not just a PR, but you trashed the old PR!!!! Almost a minute!!! Gotta be feeling great now!
Feeling good now that the fran cough is gone!;)
:highfive: You ahead of me on Fran, fantastic work Nik thats a massive pr knocking that much off after doing fran so many times, you should be very pleased and that video must be watched before you train every day!! :broc:
Funny, how I can be fast here and I struggle so bad on other workouts?!?! i have been thinking about that all day. Oh and yes the video helped. I did'nt just do the workout. I did'nt feel sorry for myself during the 15 thrusters, I fought, I fought my mind telling me to put the bar down. I don't know, maybe knowing it will be a 3 to 4 min workout that I can push harder? I'm not sure, but I will be working on keeping that intensity. Also it is kind of cool to see the list lined up to see pogresses and even relapses. I'm chuffed. |
Re: Nik
A.M. warm up
20 reps all GHDs Back ext squats facing the wall with toes aboyt 2 inches from wall pushups 12 reps HSPUs 4 sets of 5 reps underhand dead hang pullups with 35lbs KB feeling good. Heel still sore, but a bit better. Still wil lstay away from high impact for it. |
Re: Nik
rest day
8 minute amrap: 12 Overhead Squats 45k 10 Toes to bar 5 rounds 8OHSs OHSs unbroken toe to bar first 2 mayby 3 rounds unbroken then 5s and what ever I could get. Funny thing on the toe to bar. Once I break I can't get the swing/timing right after. Then I start doing the double swing at the bottom for each rep. I do'nt know what I'm not doing right after it breaks. |
Re: Nik
Myself and a lot of other people at the gym are the same. Once that kip goes for one rep it seems impossible to get it back. It's as though the rebound at the bottom just disappears. I tried to recover from it yesterday but the second rep was nearly a miss so I went back to singles in the latter rounds.

I though it was just me. I thought it was just that I was'nt use to it and just don't know where my body is and can't generat the right form. I will be working on it and try to figure out how to get it back. There has to be something that fatigues and can be worked arround. |
Re: Nik
A.M. warmup
change up 3 rounds 10 GHDs 10 back ext 10 abmatt situps 7 HSPUs 10 deadhang pullups (first round wide C2B, second close over hand, third close undr hand) 10 squat after that I did 30 reps pushups because I forgot to add them in. This warmup like this was way easier then 30 reps of each, and was fun too. Still I felt like I cheated breaking it up though. |

Eh the OHSs were fine, so no real mistake there. I like the OH work anyway, I need it. Yea, on the t2b though. I ''feel'' like it is something that can be over come. Find the right rythum and be able to get back in to it. We will see. I will be working on them. |
