300 lb Grace (not Rob Orlando)

Spencer Moorman from California Strength doing 300 lb Grace in 13:40. Didn't look all that hard, he definitely could have gone faster.

There was a short video a few weeks ago of Rob doing it around 30 minutes. Neat to see a high level lifter give it a try.

Hmmm an O lifter and obviously non crossfitter, does a crossfit wod faster than an elite crossfitter..

This may be telling us something...

OK. I'll bite. What does this tell us?

That Spencer Moorman is stronger than every top crossfitter.

Is this a dig at CrossFitters? The fact that a 250 lb O-lifter can cycle through 300lb O-lifts faster than a 180 lb strongman--both at a slow enough pace to make this almost exclusively a feat of strength--is immaterial to any critiques of CFers abilities.

Maybe I misinterpreted your post.

True statement. No surprises there.

What do you expect when he can squat 235kg for a set of 10?

I think what he is telling us, is that all these underweight crossfitters (less than 200 lbs, depending on height) would be able to help their metcon time if they were to put on some serious bodyweight by doing some kind of specific strength training for awhile, while eating everything in sight, then going back to crossfit.

Or maybe he is saying that just O-lifting is superior to crossfit. Who knows.

Does Rob Orlando (the only person from the Crossfit community to have done this, so I assume he's the point of comparison) really qualify as an "underweight crossfitter?"
