Sportsmith Bumper Plates?
After a quick google search, I found a website called They have bumper plates for a very reasonable price, and I wanted to know if anyone has experienced these plates. Thanks!

Depending on shipping charges you may be better off with wfs. Their prices shown online already include shipping

Re: Sportsmith Bumper Plates?
Sebastian I love Sportsmith bumper plates. However I am definitely bias. I own an affiliate and work for Sportsmith. So I get to test a lot of the equipment in my gym before it goes on sale. We tried to make what we feel is a very high quality bumper plate. It has a dead bounce. Our affiliate was originally fairly small. So we didn't like bumper plates that had a high bounce. Since people were doing oly lifts right next to each other we felt that it was dangerous for bars to be bouncing around. So that experience motivated our decision to make bumpers with a dead bounce. Let me know if you have any other questions about Sportsmith bumper plates.

Re: Sportsmith Bumper Plates?
I am seriously leaning towards buying these bumpers....however, shipping is steep! To put a little consumer perspective on your plates, the only thing steering people away is the lack of reviews. People would much rather buy something if they know beforehand that its rock solid, but that's just my opinion. Thanks!

Re: Sportsmith Bumper Plates?
I'm actually in Orlando right now for a conference. I should have just brought you some bumper plates with me ;) I'm not sure how many bumper plates you're interested in getting. I'm sure shipping from Tulsa, OK to Florida is not cheap. That's a lot of weight to go that far. Send me an email and I'll see what I can do to help.
