After 2 months of CrossFit
I posted this in the "starting" section, but it goes here as well. Sorry for the double-post...

So I started CrossFit exactly 2 months ago. Letís look at some numbers:

* Iíve lowered my 5K time by 2.5 minutes (currently 21:12).
* Iíve lowered my 10K time by over 5 minutes (currently 49:42)
* Iíve raised my deadlift by 20 lbs (currently 265)
* Iíve raised my shoulder press by 15 lbs (currently 130)
* Iíve lowered my 800 meter run time by 43 seconds (currently 2:52)
* Iíve completed multiple workouts that include 100 pull-ups
* Iíve completed a workout with 45 cleans at 135 lbs and 90 dips in 16:23
* Iíve lost about 9 pounds, and Iím significantly stronger than when I started
* Iíve lost about 2% bodyfat
* Every time I repeat a timed workout, I lower the time significatly, which meansÖ
* Literally almost every time I work out, I essentially set a new PR
* Iíve completely changed my attitude about what fitness is
* Iíve completely changed my attitude about what intensity is
* I donít work out without sweating any more
* Chest & Triceps day is a thing of the past
* Iím probably in the best shape Iíve ever been in, and I played college sports

Iím not saying Iím some kind of elite athlete - any avid CrossFitter would laugh at my current benchmarks, but I truly believe that with this program, I will achieve an ďeliteĒ level of fitness. Iíve never before enjoyed working out and fitness as much as I do right now.

One day I hope to post one of those flabby to 6% bodyfat type of transformation pictures. I've got the flabby picture ready to roll. I'm working on the 6% bodyfat...

That is so awesome!

I have also only been doing crossfit for such a short time and also have lost 2% body fat and about 7lbs.

It is so great and I too have my flabby picture ready and waiting. I can't wait to see how I am going to look at month 6 or next summer!

I am so proud of you! Keep it up and keep good nutrition in mind :stir:

Haha, I'll take 12%. Don't know where the number 6 came from - I was just thinking, "What is a ridiculously low bodyfat %???"

To add to this list...

I did deadlifts yesterday - I got a one-rep PR of 295. That's up from 245 when I started (actually, got the 245 pr in April).

Added 50 lbs to my deadlift in less than 2 months...
