Re: The Bassman's Log (Steve Lampl)
Dang, everyone's shoveling snow except those of us in the Deep South! Sounds, uh, like fun!
Way to get back w/ the program on the diet! I hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday! |
Re: The Bassman's Log (Steve Lampl)
How's the calf muscle doing? Have you jumped back up on a box lately? I know you have a full house for Christmas! Have a great holiday!

One egg? I think the last time I ate a single egg I was probably 3 years old.
If you're full of protein and fat you don't have room for junk. I would suggest dropping grains and sugar all together for a bit and evaluating how you feel. |
Re: The Bassman's Log (Steve Lampl)
Hi Steve!
Just stopping by to say Happy Holidays to you and yours. I wish you a bunch of happy memories! I'm with you on the redirecting the diet thing, although I am not sure the holidays really lends itself to that. I'll be struggling right there with you. Take care and all the best! |

We're having a blast up here! Lots of snow much earlier than we're used to up here. Generally we get it AFTER the holidays. Best to you and yours for Christmas too! |

Hello, Elizabeth! Calf feels a lot better, though I don't really know what I did to it......sudden overuse, I guess. No more BJs, lately, but I'm going to try in a few days. I'm thinking that I better learn that just because an exercise is fun and feels good, that I can do an unlimited number of reps. That's probably what caused the calf problem in the first place with jumping rope. Having a blast with company and new snow! Best to you and yours for the holiday also! |
Hey Steve! I'm glad to hear your wife is doing okay now! :)
Carla, Thank you so much! She is doing just fantastically!! As a type II diabetic, it just floored the doctor that he was able to remove Chery's brace after only six weeks. He'll evaluate the shoulder in another two weeks and if all is well, she'll being physical therapy. Her range of motion (she's been doing her own set of careful exercises) is just amazing for such a short recovery time. Best wishes to you and yours for the holidays! |
